What's behind some old and sometimes forgotten
pottery names of Stoke on Trent
Butterfly was yet another design from around 1993/4 and this specimen cost £400.00. Its a large vase about 10" high but as can be seen very bulbous. White base product from Moorcroft never seemed to sell quite as well as the more colourful background designs and the butterfly was destined to be discontinued in about its third year. Current price is thought to be around £500.00
