.This design was introduced towards the end of the 1980's as a "fresh" design and indeed it was at that time. A. T. Finney & Sons - Duchess China marketed this design until recently when the product was discontinued because of reduced sales. The design is still appealing but did not sell in the quantities needed to confirm that this was what customers wanted.
